by OgreHooper, 12 days agoAs many know, I will be stepping down as Chapter Coordinator in February. Two individuals have already declared their candidacy, and anyone else considering running needs to announce by February 1st. Please use the official
declaration thread on our forums here.
Voting will be held in the later half of February. All members are urged to question the candidates. Our chapter's future rests on the Chapter Coordinator's shoulders, so vote wisely!
And don't worry - I'm only stepping down to increase my availability to
OGREs, Inc.
by OgreHooper, 23 days agoAs of January 15th, the chapter is initiating our new dues program. $20 for 2012. This is for active members, who are routinely gaming with any of our groups. Payment can be made in-person to either the Senior Game Master or Chapter Coordinator, or online right here on this website via the paypal widget on the left column.
These funds will help fund our upcoming events; permanent central gaming location; purchase new games; fund our site; and to help create promotional material and member merchandise. All funds will be accounted for and relayed in the new monthly e-newsletter, and any member can make a suggestion for a fund disbursement!
It is imperative that individuals pay, but we realize not everyone can. Those members seeking a hardship waiver can simply privately and discretely contact an officer, and we offer discounts to students. Those associate members and friends are not required to do so, but donations are always appreciated! Help us help you grow your gaming - and friend - circle!
